This position will lead and grow the team responsible for securing all third-party managed real estate inventory across the U.S. (including existing building conversions, pop-ups, and ground-up development).

Responsibilities
  • Grow and build new partner relationships with the largest real estate owners, investors, and developers in the U.S.
  • Lead and grow a team of senior sales leaders to successfully close on a large volume of real estate deals 
  • Lead a team of analysts to develop market- and property-level financial models for both team strategy and deal underwriting
  • Manage contract negotiations with support from WhyHotel’s General Counsel and senior sales leaders
  • Continually analyze and iterate on our process and products to further improve outcomes for WhyHotel and partners
  • Work hand-in-hand with our marketing/brand team to shape the strategy for how we position our products to potential partners
  • Report on KPI’s to share with the broader company and our Board of Directors for decision making 
Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, Master’s degree preferred
    • 10+ years of experience in multifamily and/or hotel investments/development with an established successful deal track record
    • Experience in a quota-bearing or incentive-based role
    • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and solve complex problems creatively
    • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex and potentially lengthy sales processes and get deals to close
    • Be able to travel 30%-50% of the time based on deal needs
    • Demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and manage highly effective teams
    • You lead by example and embody the core values of WhyHotel
