Senior Associate, Multifamily Asset Management

Responsibilities
  • Lead asset management efforts across Linden’s portfolio of Mid-Atlantic assets.
  •  Stabilize newly acquired communities by creating and executing property-level business plans in conjunction with the Construction Management Team. 
  • Continue to develop the asset management team through the hiring, mentorship, and oversight of junior asset managers.  

  • Manage working relationships with property management companies, general contractors, lenders, and joint venture partners to meet or exceed operational goals.  

  • Analyze financial performance across the portfolio, with the goal of producing creative ideas for improving financial results and customer satisfaction. 

  • Produce quarterly reporting on asset performance for Linden’s investors, partners, and lenders with assistance from junior asset management staff.  

  • Assist in the analysis of new acquisition opportunities and the disposition of existing assets. 

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in real estate asset management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, finance, real estate, or another relevant field. 
  • Deep understanding of financial analysis, construction, property underwriting, and/or debt & equity capital markets. 

  • Enthusiasm for helping the company discover and implement best practices in the areas of operations, finance, and business plan execution. 

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple teams, tasks, and deadlines. 

  • Demonstration of excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Desire to be a part of an entrepreneurial, fast-growing team.
  • Must be well-composed and articulate; can represent the company well in the financial, operating, and contracting communities.
