Program Manager

The Community Design Collaborative is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit that provides pro bono preliminary design services to community-serving organizations in the region, creates engaging volunteer opportunities for design professionals, and raises awareness about the importance of design in revitalizing communities. Our mission is to partner with communities to envision the environments where they live, work, play, and thrive. We work to bring about positive community change through our design services and special initiatives to amplify resilient neighborhoods equity; by design.

Founded in 1991, the Collaborative has completed 650+ community-serving conceptual design projects in its more than 30 years of existence.

The Program Manager also provides support to other organizational functions, including project vetting, communications, grant writing, and special events.

The position is full-time and grantfunded. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to hone their project management skills, gain exposure to a variety of design and community engagement strategies, develop skills necessary for a career in nonprofit work, and build networks in the Philadelphia design and community development fields.
