Neighborhood Development Collaborative was founded in 1978 by a group of housing, community development, and financing professionals as a national §501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation with a mission to:
- Physically improve deteriorating neighborhoods by providing affordable rental housing
- Encourage residents to move up the economic ladder via through home ownership
- Develop housing for, and provide services to, seniors
- Create economic development opportunities
- Assist in providing community based support services
- Address the utilization, implementation and follow-up of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act and Community Reinvestment Act.
