In September 2019, several committed alumni gathered to plan the resurgence of the MAPP+D Alumni Network. During the pandemic, Zoom has allowed alums from around the country to join in and get involved. The third meeting of the relaunched MAPP+D Alumni Network took place on July 11, 2020. After introductions, Professor Brian Kelly gave an update on important announcements and events within the school.
The first order of business was to vote on the updated and revised bylaws. Four committees were established in the revision: Membership and Engagement; Professional Development; Programming and Social, and Giving.
The next Alumni Board meeting is on Saturday, October 10, but individual committees will meet beforehand. Committee chairs are currently seeking volunteers, so we invite you to discover your strengths and talents, network with your fellow alums, and get involved.
