The mural is a collaboration between Art Works Now and the University of Maryland.
"The Garden of Imagination" was created by University of Maryland students enrolled in Creative Placemaking Fall '23 - Art 426: Painting on Site I taught by visiting lecturer Ben Edwards. Inspired by the Art Works Now tagline "Create the world you imagine" students, in collaboration with AWN staff, designed the mural to celebrate the power of art and imagination to illustrate what draws us together as a community.
Join us as we celebrate the completion of the mural on Friday, February 16 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Art Works Now in Rhode Island, Maryland.
