2009 - Coming Home to Broadway Overlook

This studio report was prepared by University of Mary-  land, College Park, community planning graduate  students in a spring 2009 studio examining Broadway  Overlook, a HOPE VI development in Baltimore City.   This research explores whether mixed-income devel-  opment is effective in fostering a sense of community  among residents and how mixed-income development  has impacted the lives of low-income residents. Recom-  mendations for residents, community leadership, and  management were derived from these findings.
