U.S. Department of the Treasury
Office of the Curator
I interned at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in Washington, DC, in the Office of the Curator. I committed to researching and writing a report on the historic landscape of the Treasury Building. A major restoration of the building had recently been completed, and the next step was to explore the landscape. The project was primarily historical research and writing; there was no documentation component. The project turned out to be quite difficult, and even though I did not produce the project report during this challenging summer, I gained valuable experience and learned many very important lessons.
