design philosophy: as an aspiring architect, i see our role within the profession as a small contribution to an ever-evolving tradition of architecture...our predecessors are giants on whose shoulders we stand on to gaze further into the horizon of our profession

how has the UMD School of Architecture benefited you: the arch600/611 sequence, comprehensive studio and advanced technology, along with the complement of such courses as arch673, building culture, gave me the tools the conceptualize buildings holistically and critically...i have received warm support from the faculty and the students of the School, in my transition into american academics
