Ruth Adler Schnee: A Passion for Color and Design

- Schnee, who has been called a "Detroit
Treasure," helped to bring the Mid-Century Modern movement to Michigan.
Her work has been shown by the Detroit Institute of Arts and collected
by the Archives of American Art. A film documentary produced in
conjunction with this exhibit made its East Coast debut at the gallery opening.

Places of Refuge: The Dresser Trunk Project

- The Dresser Trunk Project is a traveling exhibition that chronicles the
lost stories, memories and places of refuge for black travelers during
segregation in the US South. This multimedia show offered an array of 11 "memory boxes" created by 10
