M.ARCH students only. Prerequisite: ARCH 797. Co-requisite: ARCH 799. Complements the
research of ARCH 799, with presentation of the design research to student's thesis committee.
This course is offered fall and spring semesters only.
Goals and Objectives
ARCH 798 is one component of the Thesis design semester (with ARCH 799); its purpose is to develop an understanding of the architectural thesis and an ability to integrate architectural, spatial, cultural structural, environmental and life safety systems in building design. This integration is demonstrated in each of the formal thesis committee meetings that are held during the semester (see ARCH 799).
