Mark McInturff is the founder of McInturff Architects, a six-person architecture firm with a diversified client base which includes residential, commercial and small institutional projects. The firm conducts a viable and vital practice with an orientation toward the design of small, highly crafted projects. McInturff Architects are typically involved in the entire range of services, from project programming through complete architectural and interior design, utilizing a process with considerable client interaction and involvement in an effort to tailor buildings to the needs of their users. The firm's work has been published locally and nationally, and has received more than 150 design awards.

Mr. McInturff has taught at the University of Maryland since 1980. In recent years Mark has participated in Graduate Topical Studios engaged in architectural design competitions. Frequently, students enrolled in those studios have placed in national and international competitions.
