David Kessler is a principal with 22 years of knowledge and experience in the real estate industry. Based in Bethesda, Maryland, Mr. Kessler is one of Reznick Group's national real estate practice leaders. Reznick Group is a nationally-known Top-20 audit, tax and business advisory firm specializing in the real estate industry.

Kessler oversees audit, accounting and consulting engagements, and offers extensive real estate knowledge in structuring debt and equity, acquisition and disposition, the development and investment of real estate and is involved with due diligence on behalf of his clients.  

Kessler represents developers, fund sponsors, institutional investors, asset managers, property management companies and mortgage lenders. He represents clients locally in the Washington, DC region and throughout the U.S. Kessler is currently actively involved with many different assets including multifamily residential, condominiums, land development, home building, hotels, office buildings, retail shopping centers, military housing and nursing homes. Additionally, he represents lenders that originate, syndicate, securitize and hold loans for investment. He has experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and other loan programs. He represents clients in the private sector as well as non-profits and governmental entities.

Kessler has spoken at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Real Estate Conference and frequently speaks at various real estate industry conferences on topics including affordable housing, private equity and real estate funds. He teaches various topics in the University of Maryland's executive program on the privatization of military housing and asset management and provides guest lectures in the University of Maryland's Master of Real Estate Development Program.
