Smart-Growth Research Article Leads Downloads in International Transportation Journal

A University of Maryland-backed article proposing new methods for measuring transportation connectivity is currently the most downloaded article within the international journal, Transportation Research Part A.  Entitled "Performance Indicators for Public Transit Connectivity in Multi-Modal Transportation Models," the article was authored by Research Assistant Professor Sabyasachee Mishra and Ph.D. candidate Tim Welch on behalf of the University's National Center for Smart Growth, and written in collaboration with Morgan State University's Manoj K. Jha. The article also examines how cities can pinpoint funding and service priorities within a multi-mode transportation system using connectivity as an indicator.
