The documentary film The Radiant Sun: Designer Ruth Adler Schnee directed by Terri Sarris, Univeristy of Michigan, and co-produced by Sarris and Ronit Eisenbach, University of Maryland architecture professor, chronicles the life and work of mid-20th-century designer Ruth Adler Schnee, a German Jewish immigrant to Detroit who became an influential textile and interior designer. A discussion with Schnee and Eisenbach follows the screening. 2.0 LU HSW (AIA)

This program complements the exhibition House & Home, which will be open for viewing before the lecture.

$12 Members; $12 Students; $20 Non-members. Prepaid registration required. Walk-in registration based on availability.
