How did the events of 9/11 change the way architects and engineers design today’s city skylines? A look into how new technologies address today’s concerns, as well as the past and future design of the tall building, is the subject of tonight’s hour-long NOVA special, “Engineering Ground Zero.” A preview of the report was featured on PBS News Hour September 6th. Maryland Architecture Professor Garth Rockcastle lends his expertise to the story.
