Clarence Stein Scholars from planned communities across the country will discuss the history of these communities, current concerns on sustainability, and ideas about smart growth in the 21st Century.

 

Clarence Stein (1882-1975) was an American architect, urban planner, author (Toward New Towns for America, 1951), and the designer of Greenbelt and other planned Garden City communities.
