Real Estate Development Grads Get Nod in The Washington Post

College Park, MD -- The inaugural class of Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) graduates got a nod in a recent Washington Post article.  The article, Grads' Next Assignment: Forge a Path of Service, highlights the University of Maryland's commencement ceremony and distinguishes the MRED graduates, whose degrees focus on environmentally sustainable real estate development, as notable members of the Class of 2008. 

The 2008 Masters of Real Estate Graduates are:

  • Whoman S. Bahrami
  • Paul J. Deveaux
  • Derek S. Meyers
  • Jennifer L. Portillo
  • Eric P. Raasch, Jr.

The University of Maryland's main commencement ceremony was held on Thursday, May 22.

The mission of the School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation at the University of Maryland is to advance the leadership and effectiveness of the disciplines responsible for designing, planning, developing and preserving the health and integrity of the physical environment.
