Assistant Professor Michael A. Ambrose is in Thailand this week to present a recent paper co-authored with two of his graduate students in architecture; Carl Lostritto, M.Arch. 2008 and Luc Wilson, M.Arch. 2009. The paper, entitled "Animate Education: Early Design Education Pedagogy" will be presented in Chiang Mai at the 2008 CAADRIA (Computer-Aided Design Research in Asia) Conference on the theme of "Beyond Computer-Aided Design” hosted by the Chiang Mai University.
Professor Ambrose will also be presenting a paper co-authored with another graduate student, Lisa LaCharite, M.Arch. 2009, entitled "Representation and Re-Presentation: Emerging Digital Conventions of Architectural Communication." Ambrose will also be chairing a paper session on Digital Culture as part of the 13th Annual International Conference of CAAD and Digital Media Topics.
