David P. Fogle Travel Scholarship

Spring 2014

The David P. Fogle Travel Fellowship provides annual awards supporting summer travel abroad for students enrolled in the Historic Preservation Program or its participating academic units at the UMD. Established in August 2000 by the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, the scholarship honors David P. Fogle, one of the founders of the Graduate Program in Historic Preservation, who served as director from 1990 through 2000. In addition to active involvement with a number of planning and preservation organizations, Professor Fogle initiated the University summer programs at Kiplin Hall and the Chalfonte Hotel in Cape May, New Jersey.
