   Yi Niu, PhD

Yi Niu currently works as an Assistant Professor at the International School of Economics and Management, Capital University of Economics and Business, Beijing.

Yi received his Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning & Design from University of Maryland in December 2012. He also holds a master's degree in Real Estate Economics from Renmin University of China, and a bachelor's degree in Project Management from Zhongnan University of Economics & Law.Yi's research interests include urban economics, public finance and housing policy. His Ph.D. dissertation contains three essays on urban development. Currently he has several papers accepted or under review by international journals.

Accomplishments: Best Paper Award, funded by American Real Estate Society Foundation, the 13th Asian Real Estate Society Annual Conference, 2008.
