Tim Welch, PhD Student
Tim Welch is a research assistant with the National Center for Smart Growth Research and Education. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Business administration from Washington State University, a master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University, a JD from the University of Detroit and a LL.B from the University of Windsor.
He is primarily interested in urban economics, transportation and land use. His research focuses on the effect of transport and land use policies on economic and spatial structure.
