Zhi Li, PhD Student

Zhi Li comes from Xi'an, China. For his master's study at Tufts University, he conducted research about gentrification in transit-oriented communities and applicability of smart growth policies to Chinese cities. He also got his bachelors degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, majoring in Electronic Engineering.

His research interests in Ph.D. study focus on urban economics and land use. He is also interested in examining the applicability of foreign urban policies to Chinese cities. Currently, he works with C. Scott Dempwolf and Professor Marie Howland for the innovation social network project.
