Scott Dempwolf

Scott Dempwolf is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) with twenty years of Community and Economic Development related experience. He earned his Bachelor's from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and recently completed his Master's in Community and Regional Planning at Temple University. Scott is a Strategic Policy Advisor to the Regional Economic Development District Initiative of South-Central Pennsylvania (REDDI), and the owner of Mosaic Planning Systems, a consulting firm focused on community and economic development planning. At UMD he is currently working with Professors Howland and Cohen on a study of industrial land use in Prince George's County. Scott's research interests include the economic development aspects of renewable energy; comprehensive urban revitalization; the role of innovation in regional economic development; and the linkages between planning and public health. His ultimate goals are to teach and to pursue research and consulting.
