Curriculum

An example of a curriculum with a major field in Urban Spatial Structure with a minor filed in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is the following for a student entering the program with a bachelors degree in economics and a masters degree in urban planning. For the major field this student could take URSP 688 �C Transportation and Urban Form, URSP 660- Function and Structure of Metropolitan Areas, and ECON 790 �C Advanced Urban Economics. For their GIS Minor Field, the student could take URSP 688 �C GIS for Urban Planners and GEOG 605 �C Quantitative Spatial Analysis.
