Architecture Alumni Association

Mission

Become Involved
Become Involved with the Maryland Alumni Association is a great way to feel connected to the school and give back to a university that played such an important part in your life.  Being such a small school within a large university there is so much opportunity to make a difference for the alumni and students of the school of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.

You, as an alumnus, can reconnect in a variety of ways, from by being a student mentor for IDP,  returning as a visiting critc on a review, or by making a donation to the Art Auction, just to list a few.   We are also looking for class representatives fromeach year (both bachelors and masters classes) to help keep all of our alumni informed and connected with the school.  If you would like to help out in any way - please contact the alumni association at - archalumni@umd.edu.

Career Networking
Our graduates are practicing all over the world and in all different aspects of the field.
Our annual AIAS / Architecture Career Fair helps to connect alumni from firms all over the east coast with our current students and alumni.  If you would like more information on representing your firm at the career fair or attending the career fair pease contact Lee Waldrep, Associate Dean at lwaldrep@umd.edu.  For the Univeristy of Maryland Career Services center please visit www.careercenter.umd.edu
