One of the most frequently utilized resources in the school is the model shop.  Though modest in actual size, the model shop provides a wide range of resources for creating 3-dimensional physical models.  The shop is staffed by Michael Scalingi, B Arch '95, who is a practicing architect and master-woodworker.  Mike also teaches hands-on courses at Cape May, New Jersey, for the Historic Preservation program.  Students receive an extensive shop safety training course prior to gaining access to the power tools.
